COSA is excited to offer a 5-day (September 30th -October 4th) Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (BIPOC SAPST) to entry-level substance misuse prevention professionals and others in the social services field in Alabama. The training aims to develop the basic knowledge and skills needed by entry-level substance misuse prevention practitioners to plan, implement, and evaluate effective, data-driven programs and practices that reduce behavioral health disparities and improve wellness among BIPOC populations. Daily attendance is required to receive a certificate indicating 32.5 hours of prevention education.
