
Suicide Prevention Month VitAL TownHalls & ASIST Training
- In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, we’re hosting a series of community town halls and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) across several counties. These events offer a space to talk openly about mental health and learn practical skills for supporting individuals in crisis.
- Cullman County: Town Hall on Thursday, Sept. 4th, 5-8 PM at First Baptist Church of Cullman. ASIST Training on Sept. 5-6, 8:30AM – 4:30PM at First Baptist Church of Cullman.
- Clay County: Town Hall on the evening of Sept. 9th and ASIST Training on Sept. 10-11, 8:30AM-4:30 PM (location TBA).
- Conecuh County: ASIST Training on Sept. 16-17 at Reid State Technical College.
- Henry County: Town Hall on Sept. 18th, 2-4 PM at Headland Public Library.
- Winston County: Town Hall on Sept. 19th, 2-4 PM at Double Springs Municipal Building.
- Marion County: Town Hall on Sept. 26th, 2-4 PM at Hamilton Police Department.
All events are free and open to the public.
