3rd Annual Women Veteran’s Health Expo, UAB Margaret Cameron Spain Auditorium

The Women Veteran Health Expo started in 2018 to raise awareness about the unique needs, health, and health care of women Veterans in the State of Alabama; to advocate for appropriate and equitable services for our women Veterans; and to foster a women Veteran centered culture within the VA and partnering agencies. Each year, leaders, health care workers and women Veterans gather to share information, highlight best practices, identify gaps and engage in discussions to improve care delivery. Inclusion of women Veterans as active participants in these discussions ensures their voices are heard directly by the people who are here to serve them.
