Spotlight on Pain Management (SoPM) Cyberseminar series is jointly sponsored by the Pain Management, Opioid Safety, and Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PMOP), the Pain Management Collaboratory, the Pain/Opioid Consortium for Research (CORE), and the Center for Information Dissemination and Educational Resources (CIDER). SoPM targets the VA and external pain research community, clinicians, educators, administrators and policy makers, Veterans, and the public. Its key objective is to provide a forum for discussing significant and innovative pain science and its practice and policy implications, and conversely, high priority practice and policy initiatives within and outside VA that inform future pain research. Broadly, SoPM supports the goals of the PMOP program and VHA pain care by promoting evidence-based transformational improvements in pain management for Veterans and the public.
